But looking at the weather forecast, the breeze will not remain mild for long. Winds are forecasted to approach 34 mph this afternoon, which should make for a very interesting third round.
Days like this tend to bring the field together. If the winds fail to pick up during the morning, early starters will have the chance to play well and move up the leaderboard.
Then if the winds start to gust this afternoon, the leaders will have some troubles, and have a hard time getting too far under par.
Jeff Brehaut tees off soon at 9:24 CT, at 5-under par. With the day's forecast, it looks like Brehaut may have a pretty good draw, and that his late double Friday may have benefited him in a backwards type of way.
Of course, you still have to go out and play well, even if the conditions are ideal. And of course, who said the weather forecast was going to be right?
